The Giro Sonnet Bike Helmet is the most comfortable helmet I’ve ever worn. It’s so light weight, that as helmets go, I hardly know it’s there. The fit is perfect for me, and it’s easy to adjust. My son has used it several times in a pinch, and he loves it too. I really like it for warm weather because the ventilation is excellent. If you’re someone who hates wearing helmets like I do, give this one a try because it might just win you over.
The Sonnet comes in a variety of colors. Look at this beautiful cobalt blue. On the website, they call it purple/blue but in person I think it’s straight up cobalt blue with a lighter contrast, and it’s gorgeous. Safety-wise, Sonnet helmets utilize MIPS technology, which is Giro’s Multi-Directional Impact Protection System that is meant to redirect energy upon impact, providing more protection.
