One of my favorite things to do when I am traveling is hang out by the fire pits and fire tables at the hotels I visit. It’s such a luxury to enjoy a fire with a cocktail or cup of tea, I’ve always wanted one for home. Well check this out, the Camp Chef Monterey Fire Table is an affordable, great looking modern fire table that will add so much ambiance to your patio, you will feel like you are at a luxury resort.
There is no muss, no fuss. You just put a propane tank inside the table, not to be seen, and with the turn of a knob, voila! Fire. Sparkling fire glass lends to the magical look, and a cover that goes over the glass rocks where the flames are turns this into a coffee table for daytime use. It puts off a just-right amount of heat that is nice for chilly summer nights, and I think it’s going to be wonderful for sipping hot apple cider by fire in the fall. I like this so much better than a heat lamp. There is a faint sound of the propane which is soothing, and it’s as comforting as it is pretty. If you’re in a dry climate, you could use this year round.
You have to put it together a little bit, nothing that is too difficult. I did it by myself and it was intuitive and almost fun, I had it together in no time at all (it probably took me 30 minutes tops). I was thrilled to see that the base is black, because in the photos it looks a little bit chocolate brown. The black is so sleek with that gray, and with the black fire rocks, it’s gorgeous. Without the propane tank inside, it’s not too heavy either. It’s a beautiful fire element that will add ambiance to your patio or deck.
