The Black Diamond Revolt Headlamp eliminates the question of whether you want a USB charging headlamp or battery powered because it does both. That gives me peace of mind and options. An intuitive battery life indicator (green for plenty charged, yellow for running out, and red for dying) tells you just how much juice you have left. It’s dimmable with a memory and will turn back o

The light icon on the side will bypass the memory and go straight to fully bright, this is handy for when you just want to see something quickly without fooling around with settings. It also has red night vision (something I never want to be without again in a headlamp) and strobe. It also locks so you don’t accidentally turn it on in your backpack and run your battery down.
You know, I rarely ever use any other brand of headlamp. I will if I’m product testing, but then I always go right back to Black Diamond because I find them the most comfortable, the most reliable, and most intuitive.
