Opinions are honest and sincere regardless of any compensation. I often (though not always) stay at hotels as a guest of that hotel or local CVB which is industry standard. This also applies to restaurants, various activities and products pertaining to travel. I will let you know when I am a guest. Regardless, my content is an honest evaluation and my real opinion. I am also an avid points collector and able to fund much of my travel for free–through points currency. I will not write favorably about anything if that is not what I believe. If I wouldn’t recommend something to my friend, I won’t recommend it to my readers. Note that I am enthusiastic and passionate by nature and beautiful design elements make me absolutely giddy (so does good food). If I gush and seem very excited, it’s because I am, not because I was comped or paid. All reviews on my website are presented honestly. I read travel blogs too and value an honest opinion. I focus on positive experiences and what I think will be most useful or entertaining. If I didn’t like something (or love it), you will not see it here.
