Look at this gorgeous Duffel. It’s the Gregory Alpaca 45 Duffel, and it’s as functional as it is easy on the eyes. Isn’t that blue soothing? Soothing is a vibe I like on my adventures to balance out excitement.
The Gregory Alpaca 45 Duffel is heavy duty. I would not hesitate strapping this to the roof of my car. Or a llama (hence the name). There are plenty of loops to help facilitate that. Gregory says the bag is “water resistant” but I bet it could handle downpours with ease.
I love a big duffel for camping to make it easier to haul all my stuff. When each person in the group has their own duffel, it keeps everything streamlined and organized. I also like a duffel for stuff like sleeping bags, tents and other stuff I want to wrangle together. When it’s time to set up camp, it’s nice to have a system and know where everything is. This duffel also has an internal zip pocket.
The Alpaca also works for air travel and will fit in an overhead bin. There’s a nifty semi-transparent window for your contact info, to help keep your bag from getting lost. This would be a wonderful choice for expedition travel. The zippers are lockable and have reflective pulls so you can spot them easily with your headlamp.
You can carry this bag with the handles, as a backpack, or sling. Find the extremely well made Gregory Alpaca 45 Duffel HERE.
