Want to look pulled together when you travel? Wear a blazer. Even if you’re wearing jeans, somehow a blazer dresses everything up. The Eddie Bauer Voyager Blazer is a great choice, made for travel. A flattering fit with princess seams gives the jacket a feminine look, while the technical aspects like an interior zip pocket, two-way stretch fabric and a water resistant DWR finish are all business.
This jacket is light weight and won’t hold wrinkles. It’s an easy thing to wash it in a hotel sink because it will dry very quickly over night. I absolutely love this blazer and now one of my top favorite travel pieces. Not just travel–I will wear this thing to tatters I love it so much. It’s so well made I’m actually not sure I’ll ever be able to wear it out. It feels so feminine but yet neutral and businesslike. I think it’ nicer in person than it looks in the pictures. The Voyager Ankle Pant is a great match to this jacket, and if you get the jacket I think it’s important to have both because sometimes it’s hard to match up black to black and this way it’s a perfect match. With these you have a full on suit, and one that can handle the rigors of travel. I like that this is a more casual suit that you can dress up or down. After your business meeting you can head to a trail for a hike, or cycle around a new city. These clothes are that versatile.
Wear a cute tank top under the jacket and you’re ready for adventure. They are comfortable and very light weight so they won’t add bulk to your suitcase or your body on summer days. I find both the jacket and the pant fit true to size and are very figure flattering, and I would say this is one of my all time favorite Eddie Bauer outfits, couldn’t be happier with it.
