Is it getting cold where you are? We have some serious fall chill in the air and boy have I found the perfect coat for it. The Eddie Bauer Ladder Creek High Pile Parka is ridiculously cute and fits the bill for pumpkin patches, hayrides, fall hikes, and travel. This is a three season coat that will see you through winter too, depending on climate.
Eddie Bauer Ladder Creek Parka Details
The Ladder Creek Parka is so well made and detailed with a flannel buffalo plaid lower lining panel and a butter soft furry sherpa fleece upper lining. The hood has detachable faux fur, and there are leather accents on the zipper pull and the adjustable cords. You can cinch in the waist, and the bottom for wind. I like the waist un-cinched, but that seam at the waist gives it nice lines. So do the slanted hand pockets. An inner-zip pocket will hold your phone and id.
That sherpa lining is so cozy and comforting! This coat comes in black or green and I’m loving the “dark thyme,” which is a neutral army green and refreshing from the black I usually wear. Though I bet the black version is also awesome.
Eddie Bauer Ladder Creek Parka Bottom Line
This is possibly my favorite Eddie Bauer coat yet, I just love it. It looks wonderful with skinny jeans and boots. Note that it runs a bit small. I’m 5’5 and wear an 8/10 and the large is the perfect fit. The sleeves are just right, and I have plenty of room to wear what I want underneath–though nothing crazy bulky. I think a medium would have been too tight, but according to their size chart a medium would be my size.
